QuietNite Laser Therapy

QuietNite is a dedicated CO₂ handpiece that brings airway-focused conversations into the operatory. Delivered through the DEKA CO₂ platform, it lets a practice treat the soft palate region in a short, in-office visit — opening a treatment pathway for patients who are already talking to you about snoring and sleep.

How it applies to your practice

A short, in-office pathway for airway conversations.

QuietNite lets a practice turn everyday chairside conversations about snoring and sleep into a short, protocol-driven in-office treatment.

Conversation

Act on the conversation already happening

Patients raise snoring and poor sleep in the dental chair long before they raise it anywhere else. QuietNite gives a practice a way to act on that conversation with a dedicated CO₂ handpiece rather than a referral.

Chair time

A short, in-office appointment

Treatment is delivered to the soft palate region in a single short appointment — roughly five minutes of chair time, using the CO₂ platform your practice already owns. CO₂ energy is strongly absorbed by water in soft tissue, giving clinicians the control they already expect from a DEKA CO₂ system, and it’s short enough to schedule alongside regular cleanings and hygiene visits.

Care plan

An additive part of the care plan

QuietNite is used alongside — not instead of — the sleep aids and appliances prescribed by a patient’s physician. It fits into the practice as an additive service, complementing physician-prescribed care within established clinical protocol and training.

Best fit

Is QuietNite the right addition for your practice?

QuietNite is a strong fit for practices that already field patient questions about snoring and sleep, and want a protocol-first way to respond.

  • General practices with an established hygiene recall
  • Practices already screening for airway and sleep concerns
  • Practices with a DEKA CO₂ platform in the operatory
  • Practices co-managing patients with a sleep physician
  • Practices adding elective, patient-pay services
  • Practices that want a short, repeatable chair-time procedure
  • Practices focused on protocol-driven outcomes

QuietNite, in practice.

“DEKA Lasers are unmatched in performance, versatility and efficiency. Each wavelength empowers you to achieve clinical excellence from all aspects of utilization. The applications are many but the ability to manage pain, inflammation and accelerate tissue regeneration are applicable to all practices. The incorporation of fractional ablation for airway improvements, QuietNite and facial esthetics is leading a new trend of excellence in health care.”

“Technology should do more than perform procedures — it should expand the way you care for people. That’s exactly what the DEKA laser has done in my practice. It has become an indispensable tool for everyday soft-tissue dentistry, but what truly sets it apart is the QuietNite procedure. Being able to offer a quick, minimally invasive treatment for snoring allows me to improve patients’ quality of sleep and quality of life while broadening the scope of care I can provide. For me, that’s what makes this laser truly different.”

“I am a multiple laser user and have used numerous CO₂ lasers. I have been pleasantly surprised by the speed of the DEKA CO₂ laser, I would say it is just as fast as a scalpel blade, as I only use it for flap reflections and no scalpel blades. The use for frenectomies is fast, and I saw the patients have less post op pain initially and later in the process compared to other CO₂ lasers that I have used. I have enjoyed treatments with QuietNite as we have seen anywhere from 40-100% decrease in AHI values after treatment is completed. All in all I think it is the best CO₂ on the market with the best R & D in the laser community.”

“DEKA lasers bridge the gap between clinical dentistry, facial aesthetics, and TMD therapy. The CO₂ laser is a powerhouse for skin rejuvenation — tightening tissue while reducing fine lines, dark spots, and acne — while QuietNite offers a fast, comfortable solution for snoring and sleep quality. Paired with the Nd:YAG HILT for rapid TMD pain management and deep-tissue healing, DEKA is one of the most valuable investments in my practice. Incorporating these wavelengths into combination therapies alongside PRF and neuromodulators allows me to achieve superior, predictable results. It’s the single most versatile technology in my practice, and one I recommend without hesitation to every clinician I train.”

“From their research and development to the quality of manufacturing, components, educational programming, and precision in clinical applications, DEKA Dental Lasers are truly in a league of their own. I have been using their CO₂ for precision release of restrictive oral tissues, QuietNite for snoring, and Nd:YAG High Intensity Laser Therapy for TMD and orofacial pain, and each has been invaluable in the treatment of my patients.”

“I have used many laser systems/wavelength over the past 2 decades having completed a PhD with world renown periodontist Professor Anton Sculean at the University of Bern where many protocols and novel technologies were first developed. Since moving to USA in 2016, I have purchased more than a dozen energy-based devices that I use everyday in my practice. My absolute favorite laser system for facial esthetics and tightening the soft palate to improve sleep scores/airway is the DEKA CO₂. Not only are results superior, the protocols can be performed 5-10X faster than most all other lasers. I have visited the DEKA Headquarters in Florence, Italy and was amazed to see the sheer size of their operations realizing that it was in fact the largest laser company of the world (in terms of lasers sold) representing some of the most novel technologies in the industry.”

“The DEKA CO₂ laser has become an integral part of how I deliver airway-focused care. It provides the reliability and versatility I need to perform minimally invasive soft tissue procedures with confidence while supporting optimal clinical outcomes. For practices looking to elevate their approach to airway and sleep dentistry, it is a technology I recommend without hesitation.”

“I invested in DEKA laser technologies because I wanted to offer my patients innovative, effective, and minimally invasive treatment options. The DEKA CO₂ laser, with its fractional ablation technology, has been instrumental in helping patients improve snoring and sleep apnea symptoms, often in a remarkably quick and noninvasive way. The results I have seen with the DEKA HILT laser have been equally impressive, particularly for patients dealing with persistent pain or tinnitus. Seeing patients experience meaningful relief without adding more medications is incredibly rewarding. Beyond the technology, DEKA’s education, training, and support are truly exceptional. I feel fortunate to partner with a company that is committed to helping clinicians provide better care and improving patients’ quality of life.”

Common questions

QuietNite FAQs.

QuietNite is a dedicated CO₂ handpiece used to treat the soft palate region in a short in-office visit. It is delivered through a DEKA CO₂ platform and is intended for patients seeking to address snoring and sleep-related concerns as part of a broader care plan.

A QuietNite appointment typically takes about five minutes of chair time. Most patients are treated across three to four visits spaced roughly 30 days apart, and the treatment is short enough to schedule during regular cleanings and hygiene visits.

No. QuietNite is used in conjunction with the sleep aids and appliances prescribed by a patient’s physician. It is an adjunct within a co-managed care plan, not a replacement for a physician’s treatment.

Both dental and medical insurance generally treat QuietNite as an elective procedure, so it is typically not covered. Patients may be able to apply pre-tax dollars from a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA). Many practices also offer in-house financing.

QuietNite is a handpiece option delivered through DEKA’s CO₂ systems, including the SmartXide UltraSpeed2. A DEKA specialist can confirm which configuration your practice needs and what training is involved.
